Whirlwind Weekend

The past 2 weekends have really been whirlwinds. Both kids have been sick and I was on call and working this weekend, so it was busy. The previous weekend, we went down to Hilton Head for a visit. We had a wonderful weekend there and really enjoyed seeing everybody. On our way back home, we had a quick dinner pit stop at the lake house to see Granny and Mack. Here's some pictures of our trip. . . .

Granny and Mack were at the lake, so we invaded their house - and had company for dinner. It was great since we can't really "have people over" living so far away.

Watch out! Here comes Uncle Clint!

I love pictures like this :) Heading down to the dock with big Uncle Clint. Ethan, Clint, and Beck having a snack on the dock.

When you're potty training, accessibility is the key! We put down one of the seats in the back of the van and stuck Ethan's little potty there. It worked great! Of course, he only went when we stopped, but it prevented him form having to use those nasty gas station potties.

This was our first long trip in the van. It was wonderful! So smooth, nice to drive, easy to get around and tend to the kids, loved it! Jason tried out the DVD with Ethan, wireless headphones and all! cool! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Ethan is now on the mend, Adrienne is still fighting a bad cough, runny nose, fever, ear infection, all the yuckiness that comes with this time of year. Keep her in your prayers!
