Shots from Lake Jocassee

Hello again everyone! We had a really good time on vacation at Devil's Fork State Park. The weather was HOT, so the lake felt awesome! It's a really deep lake (~350 feet) so the water stays nice and cool. But, it is also used by Duke Power as a hydroelectric source, and with the drought and 100+ degree temps, Jocassee was down 17.7 feet when we got there and went down even more while we were there. It was still pretty if you ask me! We had plenty of places to run the boat up and places for Ethan to play in the sand. He LOVED the sand! Check out the video below :) We will definitely need a sandbox sometime. We had fun playing games with Granny and Grandpa Mac, swimming, floating, tubing, exploring the lake, and attempting to fish. We ate great too! Here are a few pics from the trip:
